Plasma Quest have experience in depositing aesthetic coatings for a wide range of applications.
The apparent colour of thin films is determined by their interaction with light, specifically how they reflect and absorb different wavelengths of the electromagnetic spectrum. Plasma Quest can design and fabricate multilayer coatings comprising high and low refractive index materials to produce bespoke colour filters such as dichroic mirrors.
We have also deposited aesthetic materials for customers requiring:
- Iridescent coatings
- A rainbow effect
- A bulk colour usually defined by colour pigments
